What to Expect
On your first visit, you will need to arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Initial appointments take about 1.5 hours. In that time, you will meet your physical therapist, and he/she will conduct an evaluation of your injury. Your physical therapist will develop a plan to help you get back to health and normal function. You will continue to meet with your physical therapist for all subsequent sessions.
What to Wear
Keep in mind that during your session you will be examined by a physical therapist. Make sure the clothing you wear is loose fitting and allows your physical therapist to easily examine you. For example, if you are experiencing knee problems, make sure to wear shorts or sweat pants that can easily be rolled over your knee.
What to Bring

- List of current medications
- Date of next doctor’s appointment
- Date of surgery (if applicable)
